Ben Elliot ~ .°~ Exo Exo, Paris

Ben Elliot (born 1994) lives and works in France. His practice addresses contemporary subjects such as influence marketing, high-speed media channels and contemporary devices to highlight the concepts and values that they carry. Most of his works federate a group, taking place in contexts with a blurry border between the contemporary art setting and the social life environment. Ben Elliot extends his persona through communication tools using the strategies of influencers, social medias, digital contents, product placement, partnership and contrats; not limiting its economic system to the patrons-collectors-galleries but also integrating other players. Elliot developed several exhibition projects with Les Magasins généraux (Pantin). His last online project My Little Friend is a virtual character and brand that explores the concept of « cuteness ». Elliot is also the first artist who created his own cryptomoney.
